Last week our Nutrition team promoted Sustainable Nutrition Week. It was three days of great learning!

On the first day, in partnership with Sodexo, we showed students how to use some parts of food that we don’t always know can be used and avoid waste.

On the second day, students and employees were able to participate in the dynamics of sensory tasting, in which they tried sweets and snacks produced from parts of foods that we do not usually use. For example, the team made candy from the watermelon peel. Did you know that this is possible? It was a delight!

An interactive quiz was held on the foods used in sensory experiences on the last day. In addition, there was awareness regarding utensils that can be replaced to avoid damage to the environment, such as replacing the plastic bottle with the thermos bottle and the plastic cup with the thermos cup. And a QR Code was available for everyone to access an ebook with this material.
