The presence and use of technological resources in the classroom is one of the differentials of Escola Americana de Vitória. Recognized as an Apple Distinguished School for the period 2023-2026, here, as early as Kindergarten, students have the subject Computational Thinking in the curriculum, which introduces basic programming concepts so that they develop digital fluency. Students from the 6th grade onwards use MacBooks and Apple tools in the classroom to create projects, making learning more engaging and personalized.
At Escola Americana de Vitória, all spaces were designed to promote learning, encourage exploration and play and stimulate the cognitive, social, emotional, linguistic and physical development of each student.
During classes, we used Cubetto, a friendly robot that helps teach the basics of computer programming through practical exercises. Students learn math and logic concepts, problem solving strategies, project design and communication of ideas.
