Mr. Kay is the new school principal at EAV. He has worked in education for over 12 years as a middle and high school science teacher, assistant principal, and curriculum coordinator. Mr. Kay joins us with a wealth of experience working in schools both in the United States and Brazil, such as the American School of Rio de Janeiro (EARJ), the American School of Recife (EAR), Falk Elementary School (Madison, WI USA), and St. Anthony`s High School (Milwaukee, WI USA). A graduate of the Educational Leadership Program at the University of Wisconsin, and a participant in Uncommon Schools, STANDARDS Institute, and Adaptive Schools Thinking Collaborative, Mr. Kay has spent the better part of the last 4 years designing schoolwide system reforms and developing coaching cycles to grow and support the instructional practices of teachers in his schools.
