Lecture “We are all musical beings”

Music is an artistic expression that can be used as a functional resource in several areas of human knowledge. It is able to assist in language learning, in the practice of physical activities, in the development of motor and cognitive skills, as well as being a powerful tool for therapy and mental health. Music can also act as a trigger for various sensory stimuli, activating emotions, memories and even creativity.

This was the main message of the lecture “We are all musical beings”, given by the saxophonist, composer and music coordinator and teacher at EAV, Mr. Marcelo Coelho.

At the end of the lecture, everyone was invited to participate in an activity that sharpened their senses and showed the transforming and integrating power of music in our lives.
