Health Habits of the IEYC Program

Talking about health is also talking about the importance of having periodic checkups and looking for a health professional when you have any discomfort. This subject was discussed and deepened by Toddler children during the first unit of study of that year, Health Habits of the IEYC program.

In addition to living the experience of becoming doctors and nurses in the center of classroom dramatization, they have also received a visit from a real doctor: Dr. Consuelo Junqueira, neonatologist and mother of one of the children in the group.

With her, the children were able to learn what it’s like to be a doctor in real life, becoming aware of various instruments that are used by doctors.
